Tour Designer & Guide

Here, celebrating a client's anniversary

as part of our planned "Nightlife" package.

We began the evening at Carnegie Hall,

then heard jazz standards at the Allen Room

(part of Lincoln Center Jazz).

Our nightcap was at Ristorante Lincoln,

with a spontaneous pit-stop for New York's

very best hotdogs, at Gray's Papaya.

And all this after a 6 hour version

of our "Grand Tour in a Single Day."

Wonderful people, wonderful times.

With only one day to see Manhattan

these cousins, visiting from Italy,

also took the 6 hour "Grand Tour"

and added the "Nightlife" package.

With their interest in American Rock & Roll

we stayed for three terrific bands

at the historic Gramercy Theater

near Madison Square,

where we picniced on classic American foods

in the shadow of

the Flatiron Building.

So appreciative of the beauty all around them

was this family.

A delightful day!

I'm a former theater producer,

whose background was in the creative end of marketing.

I've always been asked to give my informal tours, over the years,

and wondered, "how would I do this if I were doing it for real?"

The idea consumed me.

How could I stitch together an effortless, yet real, sampling of

all the beauty, grandeur, charm, history, and spectacle this city provides?

Could I design precise routes that would unfold like treasure maps?

Could we deliver concise historical perspective, and imagery, to keep us moving?

Well I'm happy to say it works!  We've pulled it all together

and now we're doing it for real.

As I said, "this is how I'd show the city I love to someone

I loved - in just one day."
